    Hare Krsna,
    All glories to Guru Parampara,
    All Glories to Srila Prabhupāda.

In our history we never saw any politicians invited to inauguration of any our Temples by our Guru Parampara.
Srila Prabhupāda always termed politicians as rogues and rascals many times. He himself never voted for any rascals.
Then why instead of calling a senior Vaishnava from our Gaudiya Vaishnava for inauguration, why we are calling materialists (Those who are worshipping demigods) for inauguration? Can’t you get a Demigod (a worshiper of Visnu) for the inauguration?

Before having darśana of any deity of Bhagavān, Śrīla Vaikhānasa Gosvāmī would always ask, “Who
installed these deities?” If he was informed that a genuine Vaiṣṇava had installed Them, then he would offer praṇāma. But if not, his next question would be, “Has a distinguished Vaiṣṇava ever had darśana of Them?” If affirmed, he would offer praṇāma. Otherwise, he would leave immediately.
He would often say, “The scriptures forbid one to offer praṇāma to deities that have not been installed by a realized Vaiṣṇava. Deities become direct, worshipful personifications of Bhagavān only when any of the senses of a mahā-bhāgavata comes in contact with Them. In other words, They become śrī vigraha when
a Vaiṣṇava touches Them, has darśana of Them, names Them or offers praṇāma to them by reciting mantras of glorification.
Otherwise, they remain nothing but statues composed of material elements like wood or stone. What intelligent person would want to invoke misfortune by offering respects to deities installed by non-Vaiṣṇavas?

If deities are not allowed to be installed by a non-Vaishnava then how our temples are being inaugurated by calling in r & r politicians?

The deities were not installed by Mr. Modi. They were installed by ISKCONB devotees. He was only there to show his appreciation. This is an example of a high level person, someone on the level of a king, endorsing ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada said that it is possible for a devotee to also become a politician. It is wrong to mistake this person for an ordinary materialist.

Lecture on SB 1.8.18 — Mayapura, September 28, 1974: That is the desire of Kṛṣṇa, or God, that the state executive head should be as pious as Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira. That is the scheme. Unfortunately, people do not want that. They have now discovered this democracy. Democracy… "Demon-cracy." Shortcut of "demon-cracy" is "democracy." All the demons and rogues, they gather together, somehow or other votes, and occupy the seat, and the business is plundering. The business is plundering. If we talk very much upon this, it will not be very favorable, but according to śāstra… We, we talk according to śāstra, that the democracy means assembly of rogues and plunderers. That is the statement in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Dasyu-dharmabhiḥ. The government men will be all dasyu. Dasyu means plunderer. Not pickpocket. Pickpocket, somehow or other, if you do not understand, takes something from your pocket, and the plunderer, or the dasyu, he catches you and by force, "If you don't spare your money, I shall kill you." They are called dasyu.
So the, in the present age of Kali, the government men will be dasyu. This is stated in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Dasyu-dharmabhiḥ. You can, we can see practically. You cannot keep your money. You earn with hard labor, but you cannot keep gold, you cannot keep jewelry, you cannot keep money. And… They will take it away by laws. So they make law that…

Kindly read the article properly. He was invited for inauguration and he has not came casually.
