The miraculously safe hands of Lord Narasimha

Parbhuraj: It was sankaranti and my parents, who stay in Coimbatore, had come to meet me in Bangalore. During their stay, I took my mother to my favorite ISKCON Sri Lakshmi Narasimha temple in HBR Layout, Bangalore. I chant Hare Krishna mahamantra every day and I explained the same to my mother. My mother also agreed to chant every day. So we bought a Chanting mala and offered it to Lord Narasihma’s feet for blessing and then we took it home.

After a few days on Jan 16th (2013) my parents were leaving back to my hometown. It was an early morning train and my brother in law drove them to railway station. Since it was early morning and no traffic, the car was at a speed of 90 kmph. On their way the car met with an accident. The car hit the divider in the road; it ran over it and somersaulted twice to land upside down. The top and the bonnet of the car were almost jammed with all the glasses broken. People around came immediately and turn up the car and rescued them.

It was the mercy of Lord Narasimha dev. The japa mala offered at the feet of Lord Narasimha had protected my parents even without a single wound. Everyone was wonder struck, my dad was shocked on how they returned home live. He also quoted “this chanting mala has saved us”.

The car was very badly damaged and taken to the garage nearby, the mechanic who examined the car was curious to know what had happened to the passengers. When he was told that they are safe and nothing happened, he was surprised and could not believe. Haribol !!! Narasimhadev destroys all the obstacles and protects his devotees like a mother taking care of her baby.

This incident inspired a lot of faith in Lords protection. I hope and pray that everyone who reads this also develops unflinching faith in Lord. To read more pastimes of Lord Narasimha kindly visit the temple’s website giridhari.com
