With hearts full of gratitude and devotion, we warmly invite you to a very special occasion—the Inauguration of the Memorial Monument for His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj at the Veda Foundation, DeLand, Florida, on Monday, May 26, 2025.
This event is a humble offering of love by Maharaj’s disciples and well-wishers, in association with the Sadhu Sangha organizers, to honor our beloved Guru Maharaj, whose life was a shining example of dedication to Srila Prabhupada and the mission of Krishna consciousness.
Proposed Schedule for the Inauguration Festival
📿 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Talks by Maharajas and senior devotees
🌸 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Lotus feet abhishek, Bhoga offering, Pushpanjali, and Aarti
🍛 7:00 PM Feast Prasadam (To-go boxes will be available for traveling devotees)
The DeLand farm project was especially dear to HH Bhakti Charu Swami Maharaj. His deep desire was to establish a Krishna-centered society, envisioned as a spiritual retreat center, a sanctuary for cows, a hub for Vedic education, and a self-sufficient devotional community. Maharaj poured his heart into this project, tirelessly working to manifest this vision, even amidst great challenges.
It was in this mood of unwavering service that Maharaj spent his final days fully engaged in this sacred endeavor, until he left his body in July 2020, embracing the mission of Srila Prabhupada with every breath.
The inauguration of this memorial monument is a sacred opportunity for us to come together, celebrate Maharaj’s transcendental legacy. We are blessed to have the association of many Srila Prabhupada disciples, sannyasis, and senior devotees on this auspicious day. Your presence will make this event even more meaningful.
