ISKCON’s first Charity Shop Matchless Gifts Opening

by Administrator / 4 Jun 2013 / Published in News  /

By Parasuram das

On the 31st May 2013 singer/song writer Pete Doherty visited Matchless Gifts in London, to open ISKCON’s first Charity Shop. The shop is managed by Jenny
(singer of the BelleStars), and it pays the Temple rent and bills and has also created a dynamic energy in the local community. Pete who struggles with his “demons” has decided to support the prasad distribution project by offering financial support through a benefit gig this September at the Brixton Academy. If you live in the UK please support us by dropping off your unwanted sell able goods and let us turn it into “Laxmi” to be engaged in devotional service. Enjoy the movie!
