Ceuta, a spanish city in the north of Africa (population 80.000). The day of Gita Jayanti eve, Iskcon member Krishna Kripa Dasa (Juan Carlos Ramchandani) met the Director of Goverment Relations with Religions (maximum authority from the spanish goverment in dealings with other faiths besides catholicism) Mr. Angel Llorente, as well Direcotr of Foundation Pluralismo y Convivencia (a supported by goverment foundation to promote cooperation and diversity among different religions), Mr. Fernando Arias Canga.
Both of them received Srila Prabhupada´s Bhagavad-gita at it is, and they chat for a while about the need of Goverment official recognition of Hinduism (and its differente schools like vaishnavas, shaivas etc) as a bonafide religion.
The dignataries thanked the gifts and specially after Krishna Kripa explanation that they received them in such a special ocassion as Gita Jayanti. They invited Krishna Kripa to meet them in a nearby date to discuss topics related to hinduism
