Full sets of Srimad Bhagavatam and Sri Caitanya Caritamrita are available at the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT) this year for distribution all over North America. The Srimad Bhagavatam had itself prophesied that it would create a revolution throughout the world – a fact that is being witnessed in our present, modern time. The destiny of these great scriptures, ever unfolding, is finally spreading to every country of the world through the efforts of Srila Prabhupada and his sincere followers. These books will unite individuals from every country, creed, race, of every religion and of every economic background under the banner of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Srila Prabhupada came on the order of his spiritual master to, as he put it, “systematically educate and train people in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values and to achieve real unity and peace in the world.” Before his passing away in 1977, Srila Prabhupada achieved the amazing feat of publishing the entire Sri Caitanya Caritamrita and Srimad Bhagavatam which is now available as a new 9 and 18 volume set respectively.
Let’s get these sets out to people all over North America which will change their lives. We are inviting all the devotees to join together to fulfill Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s Centennial disappearance day festival (to be celebrated on June 26, 2014) goal of distributing at least 1500 Srimad Bhagavatam sets and at least 500 Sri Caitanya Caritamrita sets throughout North America this year. We have organized this goal in the spirit of Bhaktivinoda Thakura who sent out books to all parts of the world to spread the message of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He predicted that people from every part of the world and from all different cultures will come together to glorify Lord Gauranga in Harinama Sankirtana. He also predicted that a great general will come to spread Krsna consciousness all over the world and that came to pass with the appearance of Srila Prabhupada, who traveled everywhere and lit the world in fire with Harinama Sankirtana and his transcendental literatures. The BBT is stocked with Srimad Bhagavatam and Sri Caitanya Caritamrita sets and we request you all to order the sets now and distribute them to your congregation, friends, family and to people who you meet everywhere you go.
