Today, for the whole day of June 23, Wikipedia is commemorating Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur’s 100th disappearance anniversary by a clickable reference to his article, complete with his photograph, on its Main page:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

under the section “On this day.” dedicated to promoting events of global significance (alongside Bhaktivinoda Thakur are the new King of Spain Felipe VI and the Grand Duke of Luxembourg).

Wikipedia’s Main page gets from 10 to 15 millions visitors hits a day.
