Mayapur 2015

by Administrator / 26 Jan 2015 / Published in Announcements  /

Mayapur 2015: As devotees make preparations for the start of the Annual General Meeting of the GBC and meeting of the GBC Strategic Planning Network (SPN), we will be sharing with you videos of devotees speaking on the numerous initiatives the GBC has embarked on in preparation for ISKCON’s future. We’ll also show the significant progress and achievements the GBC has made thus far in its strategic planning work across the globe. We hope you’ll find these videos both informative and inspiring.

Today’s video is of Anuttama Prabhu, current GBC Executive Committee chairman and head of the SPN’s Communications Committee speaking on the significant work of the Strategic Planning Team that planned and hosted the successful ISKCON Leadership Sanga (ILS), which attracted devotee leaders from across world. He also speaks of the positive emphasis during the ILS on the concept of servant leadership. We also have Devakinandana Prabhu from ISKCON Singapore, an international lawyer speaking of his service with the Organizational Development Committee and the benefits he takes home to his prabhu-datta-desh from the various initiatives coming out of this work.

This year we will also report on the historic gathering in Mayapur of Sannyasis, Gurus, and GBCs (SGGS), a sanga of the devotees who play a pivotal role in the spiritual health and growth of ISKCON worldwide.

We look forward to sharing more with you in the lead-up to the meetings, and sending updates throughout. Stay tuned!

Hare Krsna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Your servants,

GBC Community Relations Office of the Strategic Planning Network.
