On 16th May, we had Ratha Yatra Festival at Parramatta, Sydney Which was attended by Julie Owens, Member of Parliament. She gave a very nice speech about the festival at Parliament yesterday. This is a very significant milestone for ISKCON Sydney. Below is the video:
The Rath Yatra Festival of Chariots is one of my favourite events of the year. If you missed it this year, try and catch it next year as our local Hindu community drags the chariot and dances their way down Church Street. See where the word 'juggernaut' comes from. Thank you to all who organised the event including Iskcon Sydney and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Australia.
