ISKCON Dhaka, Bangladesh is going to Celebrate The Festival of Chariot (RATHA YATRA) of Lord Jagannath from 16th July to 24th July, 2007. Distinguished dignitaries personalities and guest from home and abroad are expected to join in this 9 days long programme.
Let us join our hands to pull the ropes of the 3 individual chariot’s of Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladev and Suvadra Maharani. There will be a very colourful procession held on 16th July(Ratha Yatra, From Swamibag ISKCON Temple to Dakeswari Temple) and 24th July(RETURN RATHA YATRA, From Dakaswari Temple to Swamibag ISKCON Temple ). ISKCON GBC and Guru H. H. Srila Jayapataka Swami will join at RETURN RATHA YATRA.
During this 9 days long programme many spiritual and cultural varieties are scheduled to be held like Discussion, Vedic Dance, Padavali Kirtan, Harinam Sankirtan, Cultural programme, Bhajans, Arati Kirtan, Vedic Drama, Cinema, Classes from Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhakti Vriksa Conference, Instrumental Music(Sitar, Violin), Distribution of Prasadam, Quiz contest from selected books(Jagannath Dever Prokash, Grihe Bose Krishna Bhajan and Jagrata cetana) etc. at the festival ground.
