Bhakti Purusottam Maharaj visited Korea during chusak holidays (Sept 22nd to Sept 27).
On his arrival, September 22nd, Maharaja stayed at Shekhawat dasa’s house, our temple president, and met with the devotees. We then had kirtan followed by maha prasadam.
On sept 23rd, ekadasi, a special program was held at our Sri Sri Radha Damodara Temple, Masok where 150 devotees gathered to get darshan of Lord. The program started with bhajan and kirtan followed by a class by Bhakti Purusottam Swami. The program ended with arati and of course a prasadam feast.
A special program was held at our Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Pocheon on September 24th. Around 400 devotees and guests gathered to have darshan of Lord. The program started with Kirtan and arati followed by a class from Bhakti Purusottam Swami. Patanjali Muni Das translated into Korean for sake of Korean devotees. Then a delicious prasadam feast was served to all the devotees and guests. The evening ended with a glorious sandhya arati, led by Maharaja.
On Sept 25th, a satsanga was held at Mahendra Vaidyaji’s house in the morning. After prasadam the devotees were anxious to participate in Nagar Sankirtan in downtown Seoul. Maha prasadam (puris, subji and fruits) and Srila Prabhupada’s books were distributed to the public.
On Sept 26th, two satsangas were held. One was at Videeshaji’s house, Suwon followed by another at the home of the Malaysian Ambassador Sri Santhananabanji. Around 50 devotees congregated to have kirtan, hear a class and honour delicious prasadam.
