iskcon_vrn_namhatt: Between 2000 to 5000 people attended for three days the Janmastami Program
held in Agra, organized by the Iskcon Vrindavan Nama Hatta Department.
The program the first of its kind in many years attracted the attention of
the city locals.
His Holiness Radha Govinda Maharaj spoke on Krsna’s childhood pastimes,
which had the crowd listening with rapt attention. Other senior devotees
attended were His Holiness Radha Raman Maharaj, His Grace Srestha Prabhu
(co-president) and His Grace Janardan Prabhu (vice-president). Over 50
temple devotees also participated in the program.
Devotees very enthusiastically distributed books and the holy name.
Guests were treated to a sumptuous prasadam feast. His Grace Srestha
Prabhu did the arati ceremony and His Grace Janardan Prabhu together with
other temple brahmacharis led kirtan.
