Dear devotees,
We would like to wholeheartedly extend an invitation to all sincere and serious devotees who have an affinity for pujari seva and who are at the same time eager to serve the mission of Srila Prabhupada in the association of like-minded devotees.
Allow us, therefore, to shortly present our Goloka Dhama community to you; a wonderful ISKCON project in Abentheuer, Germany, the home of the most beautiful and merciful Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohan.
The Goloka Dhama community was founded in 1996 in a beautiful forest setting, a place where a former timber mill was transformed into what is today a true spiritual sanctuary. The area is a nature reserve, filled with streams of crystal clear water, old trees, beautiful lakes, charming forest clearings and amazingly clean fresh air full of prana. It is intertwined with many forest paths inviting one to walk for hours without seeing anyone except for some playful deer and foxes.
On our property, the scenery is equally beautiful and inviting – a small Yamuna rivulet running alongside with a sweet murmur, the meadows filled with apple trees, colorful flowers and an array of vegetables that we grow to offer to our Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohan, and many dancing bumblebees, butterflies and a variety of chirping birds.
For more than 20 years now, there have been daily worship programs, philosophical teachings, festivals and joyous chanting and dancing. Throughout the year, an interesting variety of seminars are held by many exalted spiritual masters and accomplished international and local devotees, Bhakti-sastri and Bhakta courses, chanting workshops and retreats, cooking courses and more.
As the foundations of every project consists of people, we need to also mention that Goloka Dhama is a community of dedicated devotees working together for a common goal – going deeper in their devotional practice in a mood of cooperation and mutual support, for the pleasure of all Vaisnavas and our Lord.
In the heart of it all, and the force behind everything, is the daily worship of our Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohan, who have been very mercifully and actively engaging devotees in Their service. We have a brilliant team of dedicated devotees serving Their Lordships, and they wish to reciprocate with Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohan for the many gifts they keep receiving in their seva by trying to increase the quality of their service. For that, we are reaching to all of you who would like to come and join our Sri Sri Radha Madana-Mohan team of servants.
In Goloka Dhama you would have the opportunity to serve in a peaceful environment, benefit from the wonderful natural forest park, get some spiritual uplift and inspiration from the many festivals, visiting preachers and studies of sastra, and have the association of other sincere and dedicated devotees. In other words, you would get a holistic experience of a full time life in a Krishna consciousness community.
