Deena Bandhu Das: Today in Braja we celebrate Hariyali Teej! Hariyali means greenery and Teej refers to the 3rd day of the bright half of Bhadra (Hrishikesh). So now for a month and a half, the rainy season has been going on and everything is very green! So all the Deities are decorated with lots of greenery and everyone wears green!
