Radha Kunda Seva: August 2018 Photos and Updates (Album of photos)
In this last month of August we expanded our daily cleaning efforts to include the maintainence of two new locations in Radha Kunda Town! Two ghats (landing stairs/ramp into water), one of them named Vallabha Ghat at Shyama Kunda, and another named Go Ghat at Radha Kunda proper, just across from Lord Nityananda’s Sitting Place. Both of these places are frequented by many people as well as the local dogs and monkeys, and as a result of this they have become quite polluted from their garbage. Thanks to the regular support of our donors we are now able to sustain cleaning at these ghats morning and evening on a daily basis.
In addition to this expansion, we have built a new bamboo trellis for the Bougainvillea (paper flower) vines in the Jhiva Mandir garden, and a new fence to protect the garden. Both of these new constructions are pleasing to the eye, as you will see in our photos. In addition, the sight at Govardhana is currently filled with spectacular greenery owing to the plentiful rainfalls we have had this month.
