HG Sukadeva Prabhu ACBSP, an extraordinary soldier in Srila Prabhupada’s army left his body peacefully this morning around 8 am. Let us pray for his journey back to the feet of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Sri Krsna. (He is the one in the middle holding the japa)

His Grace Sukadeva Prabhu is one of the great sankirtana devotees in Lord Caitanya's movement and a dear disciple of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. His melodious kirtans are world renowned.
I remember when Sukadeva came up from Seattle (where he was temple president) to Vancouver for the installation of the beautiful Sri Sri Radha Madan Mohan in 1974. He led the most blissful kirtans as the devotees chanted and danced together in ecstasy.
And who can forget his contribution to the famous "Every Town and Village" album from Golden Avatar Productions where Sukadeva's chanting fades in and out between every track? A classic!
Sukadeva Prabhu was always well-spoken and his classes were sweet. He was a true Vaisnava gentleman who will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by many. May he always be safely situated at Srila Prabhupada's divine lotus feet.
