Just now I received an SMS message (apparently from Madhavendu Prabhu, Maharaj’s disciple @ Vrindavan) that (“Guru Maharaj”) HH Subhag Swami Maharaj has suffered a brain hemorrhage at Bali (Indonesia), and that he’s now about to be operated for the same, and please pray for Maharaj.
This is for the information of you all and to pass on the request to pray for the health and well being of Maharaj, in this “hour of grave crisis” for him.

We have got news that operation is successful, it was blood blockage and doctor says that nothing to worry, he is now in ICU and out of danger, within a week he will be OK.
You may please add comment that it was not brain hemorrhage, just blood blockage or here is phone number of Bali you may pls call and know the details.

Hare Krishna. I just spoke to Rama Vallabha prabhu of Denpasar temple and he said that Mahraj condition is ok. Maharaj had complained of pain and he was immediately seen by Doctors. A CT scan showed clot in the brain. Maharaj was operated at the Surya Usadha hospital this afternoon. Rama Vallabha prabhu also said that on surgery the clot was removed at the Surya Usadha hos

He is also a saint and a scholar and a powerful preacher who is hard to find because he is always fully engaged in the missionary work of ISKCON. I visited HH Subhag Swami in the hospital this morning. He is very strong and happy. He needs to rest there for one week. The hospital is first class and there are many nice young brahmacaris who are taking good care of his spiritual needs. The hospital is getting purified.

HH Subhaga Swami is out of the intensive care. He was there just to be watched after the surgery. He is now walking and cheerful..

I am relieved to hear that Subhaga Maharaja is making a good recovery. He is my dear godbrother who I always remember with love and affection from the days when he served with us in London. Srila Prabhupada welcomed into his close personal association and showed him a lot of special mercy in those days. I send Maharaja my very best wishes for a full recovery and many more years of preaching.

Today (22nd November 2009) 6:11pm I just had a phone conversation with HG Sundarananda Prabhu (00628983137999) and he told me that Guru Maharaja is out of the intensive care and he is walking and taking Prasadam normally, before he was not able to lift the spoon even. After three days Guru Maharaja is going to be discharged from Hospital.
HG Sundarananda Prabhu is humbly requesting to all the devotees to see Guru Maharaja after a week as he needs some rest. Thanks for all of your prayers and please keep praying for quick recovery.

all gloriesto Srila Prabhupada.I visited maharajd 2 days ago, I feels sad to saw maharadj in that condition, because i meet maharajd last time 2006 when mahardj at SRI SRI KRSNA BALARAMA in denpasar ,when instalation ceremony with Sripad maharadj. I work in surya husadha hospital ,place where maharadj was hospitalized, so i can saw maharadj ,even from far away, one time i meet maharadj walk by wheel chair, with Prabhu Trata(dr.Tri astawa SpPD), and 2 brahmacari, maharadj looks very strong,even many equipment.
this morning brahmacari(Saci Pr) prepare prasad for maharjd,I visited only in outside.
Now all equipment already take it off,except dc.
Hospital where I work very fortune because many devotees and maharjd came.

Kavicandra Swami: HH Subhaga Swami was released from the hospital a few days after the surgery. Doctors do not see any complications. He has been told to rest in more or less isolation, not having guests. His disciples are taking good care of him. Latest report is the he is eating nicely and walking.
He does receive emails. He appreciates the well wishes of his god brothers and devotees in general.
