Bhava’s Lamentation (6 min. video)
These x3 short skits were prepared for our Grihastha Mentee Group presentation on SB Canto 3 – Chapter 23 entitled ‘Devahuti’s Lamentation’.
The three lessons we selected from the chapter to highlight were:
1) Reciprocal Relationships of service
Devahuti and Kardama Muni both made sacrifices for one another that ultimately culminated in spiritual advancement.
2) Importance of child-rearing
Taking the role of a parent is a great responsibility, a gift and can ultimately be very rewarding.
3) Benefits of a devotee partner
One should not get lost in just enjoying but should remember to focus on making spiritual progress.
These skits are showing how these lessons can be misinterpreted. This is just for laughs and no offense intended on our part.
