Last week while traveling in south India Yugadharma Carreras became gravely ill. Yugadharma is a Srila Prabhupada devotee. He has connections to many west coast and Indian temples. He resides in Three Rivers, CA and operates a small gift shop. He spends time preaching and traveling to Vrindavana. Yugadharma has been fighting liver disease for many years now. He had been successful at curbing the progression of the disease.
He was hospitalized and remained in ICU for most of a week. He was diagnosed with internal bleeding and an accumulation of toxins. He came very close to leaving his body. Through blood transfusions donated by local medical students and a watchful eye he is making a recovery. He is residing in a south Indian hospital and hopes to come back to the United States the beginning of next week: Aug. 15. He will then be taken to the UCLA medical center.
Srisa Carreras and sons traveled to be with him and help him recover. Because of the unexpectedness an account has been set up with Bank of America to help with the medical and travel expenses. The account number is 08355-43314. All thoughts and prayers are welcome to aide in his recovery. Thank you to everyone who has called and helped the family out already.

Please convey my sincere well wishes to Yugadharma prabhu. I hope he has a speedy recovery. If not, I hope he is blessed with the presence of Srila Prabhupada and the holy name at the crucial time. None of us can expect to be here in these bodies indefinitely, our only gaurantee is that things will change. Yugadharma is a sincere devotee of Srila Prabhupada and the best we can wish is that by His Divine Grace, this change will be the last. May Srila Prabhupada’s lotus feet be our only shelter!
Your humble servant, Hari-sauri dasa
