HH Krishna Das Swami was at Bhaktivedanta Manor during the 1980's when i was also there. He spent a lot of time in the Gardens and Grounds and the Cow Protection Project. He would sit peacefully behind the Cottage (Womens Ashrama back then) where the gardens were and was always very accessible to talk with. And i was always covered in dirt but he spent some time talking to me and some of his disciples who also worked in the gardens. He was always such a menial (humble) person and happy to give his time to help us in realisations with great garden analogies. Even when i was cutting grass with a mower he would stop me to talk about the driver of the body as i was the driver of the mower, and would smile as i started off again. But what i found so fascinating about him was he always recognized me and addressed me with my name, he would say Good Morning Dusyanta Prabhu to me and smiled, he never ignored me or was never flippant to me and that really impressed me.
