December 26, the disappearance anniversary of the hidden jewel of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, Vibhu Chaitanya Prabhu. He alone cooked for 17 years all the offerings to the Deities. He arrived at the kitchen at 2:30am and left at 1 pm and then again from 3:30pm to 10pm. Prabhupada told him he didn’t have to chant rounds, just chant while cooking. The most exquisite melodies emanated from the kitchen. When he could no longer stand, for years he meticulously gave out the charanamrita. Finally when he could no longer even do that, you see him sitting in his wonderful bhajan kutir in the photo. Vibhu Chaitanya Prabhu ki jaya!
