Dear Jananivasa Prabhu,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Every year, we look forward to our pilgrimage to Sri Dham Mayapur at the time of the GBC meetings. And like every devotee who visits Mayapur, we feel truly at home once we reach the shelter of Srila Prabhupada’s headquarters.
The familiar sights of Mayapur are ones that we all take shelter of even when far away: Srila Prabhupada’s bhajan kutir, the samadhi of His Divine Grace, the darshan of Sri Sri Radha\-Madhava and the asta sakhis, Sri Sri Prahlad\-Nrsimhadeva, Sri Sri Panca Tattva, and along with all these heart nurturing darshans, we see you and Pankajanghri Prabhu.
Truly, the experience of coming home to Sri Dham Mayapur is inseparable from the sight of the two of you. Your decades of steady, dedicated service are an inspiration to every member of ISKCON, and certainly to us, as we have borne witness to your fidelity to Srila Prabhupada’s instructions for the last fifty years.
And now, we struggle to imagine a visit to Mayapur without seeing Pankajanghri Prabhu engaged in his service to Nrismhadeva, offering prayers on behalf of us all. Undoubtedly, though unseen to us, Pankajanghri Prabhu continues in his service with his same enthusiasm and dedication. Yet, our hearts feel the effect of his physical separation, even from our far away corners of the world.
How can we then understand your loss of not only a brother by birth, but a brother with whom you shared the deepest of bonds \-\- united service to Their Lordships and to our beloved Srila Prabhupada.
Please know in this time of separation that we, your brothers and sisters on the GBC Body, share in your loss and offer our prayers that your heart will be soothed by the shelter of the Holy Names, your service to Sri Sri Radha\-Madhava, the nectarean words of Srila Prabhupada, and the association of the Vaisnavas and Sri Dham Mayapur.
If we can offer our support to you in any way, please know that we are at your service.
Though time and distance may separate us, we are always united in our brotherhood at the lotus feet of our beloved Srila Prabhupada.
Hare Krsna,
Your servants,
Bhakti Caitanya Swami,
On Behalf of the GBC Body
