Please accept my humble obeisances and all glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I wanted to inform you of the passing away of HG Manu das Prabhu, he was initiated in London in 1971. He spent his life serving Prabhupada’s mission, and spent most of his later years in Vrindavan. He would visit his family for a few months in a year but he always said his real home was Vrindavan.
The last year was challenging for his health as he had developed vascular dementia and spent last few weeks in hospital.
His memory started failing BUT he never forgot to chant HariNaam. In hospital he would continuously and incessantly chant, even in his sleep. The doctors were concerned about his mental state as he kept on saying Haribol to everyone all the time which they didn’t understand, but his son Sanjeev Khurana assured them that there was nothing wrong with him and he was in perfect consciousness chanting the holy names of the Lord.
Few days before he left, he told his son about his deep realization, “Haribol is everything, Haribol is everything, Haribol is everything”.
