We organized 4th annual Turkish Namahatta camp on the outskirts of Istanbul, Turkey. Our special guest was HH Sivarama Swami and also there were 7 devotees from Hungarian Yatra came along with him. In commemoration of the 92nd Anniversary of Sukorejo Village, Bangorejo Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, enlivened the cultural arts parade. This parade aimed to clean the village environment from negative energy. The Hindu Parisad and Hindu community invited devotees to participate on the parade. Then the devotees accepted the invitation and coordinated with the Ratha yatra Nusantara team to make preparation.

In the ahimsa community there are 2000 people. 4% are ISKCON and 8% receive milk and the rest support the ahimsa dairy foundation. They find the vision enthralling and want to support its work. We have 48 acres and will be buying a further 25 acres shortly. 180 people sponsor cows and we have 360 members who pay at least £9 per month. There is a waiting list of 1000 people who want milk and so we have stopped taking new applicants.

The conference was a great success inspiring over 40 participants from all over Europe attended including members from ISKCON higher leadership in the Uk and the event even brought the local member of Parliament. The conference in Europe is reaping the fruits of years of careful cultivation. The cooperation among projects is increasing and Europe heads towards having regional representatives for cow protection and agriculture in its 8 zones.
