By Premanjana das As part of the Vraja Mandala Parikrama, Lokanatha Maharaja was going to participate in the Govardhana Parikrama. A tree had fallen down on the road. The driver tried his best to avoid the tree in the darkness, but the car started to skid and turned over. Maharaja’s left hand got stuck under the car.

This was accomplished by taking advantage of the Halloween season and a 120 lb pumpkin that was grown in the computer controlled 700 Sq. Ft. Raised Bed Vegetable Garden at the American Vedic Association.

He did mention that there maybe exceptional circumstances that would warrant this and Prabhupada also allowed this, but that the norm should be that ISKCON does not pay salaries.

We do get out a little only around Gosala area, as it is less time to spend in cold water than trying to go to the temple.

A rather dry rainy season was coming to an end . no one expected any flood in Sri Mayapur this year. Then the news came – the dams are too full and the Government has opened them up, in a few hours we will have a flood.
