The flood water is finally left temple rooms today, 9-10-06 by mangala aroti time. Yesterday’s video of offering Damodara lamps while devotees were still standing in the water is now posted to Mayapur Darsan forum and will appear on our website www.remembermayapur.com shortly.
I will concentrate tonight and tomorrow on posting photos taken in the last few days. You can check for them on Mayapur.com galeries (not Daily Photos, but the other folders).
Video clips are very poor quality – this is because our usual camera that took video clips for the past 2 years is now broken. Now we are using very old P&S digi-cam with a primitive movie mode (which had also fallen into flood waters, been dried and still working for now (xx my fingers & touch wood)) – thus the quality of video is very poor and you can’t see many wonderful details that could be seeing if we used a more up to date camera with a better movie mode.
I am actually asking now – if someone could donate towards us getting a new digital camera for shooting video clips, or maybe someone can buy a new camera and send to us… or maybe if you have a camera that you don’t use very much – we can use it for you – a LOT! Please, contact us if you wish to help with this in any way.
