I have just spoken to Bhojadeva prabhu-early evening- in his hospital room in Bangkok and he sounded suprisingly good. I THINK THEY PLAN AN OPERATION FOR HIS RIGHT EYE and he hopes to be out of the hospital in a few weeks and continue any treatments as required.

Dear Brothers and sisters,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Guru Maharaja.

I spoke with Guru Maharaja over telephone. He is admitted in a hospital. For Guru Maharaja’s safety, please allow us to keep confidential about where he is. It is now believed that Guru Maharaja is the main target of the attack. So we were told to keep his movements confidential. Therefore, our earnest request to all of you is not to ask this most frequently asked question, “Where is Guru Maharaja?” Please also restrain yourself to calling to BI Kolkata as we are not able to handle the number of calls. I will post the information once in few days. Please convey these messages to the devotees who are near to you and not in this egroup.

Guru Maharaja’s stitches on the hand were removed now. The situation is worse now. Because of the puss remained closed inside the stitches, the wound got infected and it requires surgical intervention. The wound is deep and it is in the shape of a cup with surface diameter about two to three centimeters. It was also now diagnosed that his bone (near the wound) is also fractured. It was not clear in the X-ray in Manipur hospital. Another unfortunate problem that was diagnosed is that there is a hole on the eardrum of Guru Maharaja because of the thrust of the blast. The imbalance that Guru Maharaja has been complaining is also believed due to the minior earlier ear problem. In next few days he will be operated for the both hand and the ear. Please pray to the Lord so that everything goes well.

Guru Mahraja would like to thank all of you and his Godbrothers who have been expressing sincere concern and well-being of Guru Maharaja. I have conveyed most of the messages in this regard, at least the names who have been sending messages. If you have something important, please send an email, we will respond, but not immediately. Pease bless us so that we serve responsibly in this crucial time.
