All India Ahimsa Parmo Dharma Awareness Casmpaign launched by respected Shri Pranab Mukherji President of India in President House on 21st September 2013. This program was organized and coordinated by Brahma Kumaris.
Religious leaders of different sects named below were present at the event:
1. Brahma Kumaris
2. Bahai Community of India
3. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind
4. Catholic Archdiocese
5. Maha Bodhi Society
6. Ramakrishna Mission
7. Judah Hyam Synagogue
8. Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati
9. Delhi Shiromani Gurdwara
Five devotees from ISKCON were invited to participate in the event. HG Vrajendranandan Das (Director – ISKCON National Communications) addressed the gathering in the presence of respected President of India on the topic of ahimsa quoting from Bhagavad Gita. The speech was well received and appreciated by all the participants.
This is a historic event as its the first time a inter-faith gathering has been held at the President’s house.
