Ketan Kundaliya: World Holy Name Week is celebrated all over the world every year with millions of people chanting Holy Names.
This year we want to create a big wave of awareness about WHNW on twitter as millions of people use twitter worldwide.
Twitter has the # symbol, called a hashtag, is used to mark keywords or topics in a Tweet. It was created organically by Twitter users as a way to categorize messages.
Using hashtags to categorize Tweets by keyword:
People use the hashtag symbol # before a relevant keyword or phrase (no spaces) in their Tweet to categorize those Tweets and help them show more easily in Twitter Search.
Clicking on a hashtagged word in any message shows you all other Tweets marked with that keyword.
Hashtags can occur anywhere in the Tweet – at the beginning, middle, or end.
Hashtagged words that become very popular are often Trending Topics.
These trending topics are searched by millions of people world over and at times they are even given a decent coverage in media. Example given #Feku and #Fekufort are trending on twitter because millions of tweets are posted on twitter with #Feku and #Fekufort. The more the tweets posted with # the more the chances for hashtagged word to become very popular and often trending.
This World Holy Name Week we all should flood twitter with #Harinam tweets(messages) to make it very popular and trend worldwide on Twitter.
For making #Harinam trend worldwide following three easy steps are required from you. It takes just three minutes to post the messages(tweets) on twitter
1.Log on to Twitter
2.Type message with #Harinam
