The Management of ISKCON Mayapur hereby expresses our strong condemnation of the recent, vicious physical attack on His Grace Sadhu das. We pray that Sadhu prabhu will make a full recovery and that those responsible for this reprehensible act will face punishment to the fullest extent of the law.
We also request that all the devotees of our ISKCON society offer prayers to Lord Krishna for Sadhu prabhu’s full recovery.
In addition, as it seems likely that this attack was motivated by a conflict arising over private land and property usage or purchasing, the Mayapura Management has issued warnings to our community regarding the dangers of land and property speculation. We are also taking steps to safeguard against similar volatile situations arising in the future.
