A most positive event within the century, and unprecedented victory in the age of Kali; a new government supports the saints and sadhus in their concerns for preservation and restoration of the Yamuna, the wife of the Supreme, the cynosure of cultural India.
As stated in the Skanda Purana the prediction of disappearance of the Yamuna after 5,000 years of entrance into the Kali-yuga; has been temporarily delayed because of the presence of the devotees of the Lord. [SB. 1.18.8]

‘Maharaja Pariksit considered that less intelligent men might find the personality of Kali to be very powerful, but that those who are self-controlled would have nothing to fear. The King was powerful like a tiger and took care for the foolish, careless persons.’
A set back for Kali-yuga, the Yamuna will return to Braja.
A glorious battle of devotional concern has been won, the Free Yamuna Padayatra, to bring back the natural fresh waters of the river Yamuna to Braja Vrndavana, has become successful; the Indian government has agreed to its demands. As in the article link below, a two-month preparation of basic measures will be implemented for an entire free flow of the Yamuna in Braja; while extended work building parallel canals to separate the polluted water will take some years to construct.
As there are multiple states where the River Yamuna flows, this short period is required before all the gates of the Haryana dam can be fully opened; preparations must be understandingly made to meet with this new Yamuna free flow development.
The Ganga will be next and with this feat of worship(preservation and protection)of these two most sacred rivers, the effect in the cleanup of these two water arteries of India, will truly help usher India into a new age of piety and spirituality that will truly have an increased impact on the world.
All glories to those, who heart fully supported this great work, a unique background setting in the home base land to a worldwide sankirtan network.

PRESS RELEASE Rajnath Singh sort outs Yamuna agitation, sends emissary Ravishankar Prasad to Padyatris; assures free flow of Yamuna
The 20, 000 plus strong ‘The Free Yamuna Foot March’ (Yamuna Muktikaran Padyatra) started on 15 March from Kosi (Braj) to New Delhi entered at Jantar Mantar ended on 22 March by the intervention of Home Minister Rajnath Singh in consultation with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sending Union Minister Ravishankar Prasad as the emissary with a promise that the demands of the Padyathris will be met within two months.
Said Union Minister Ravishankar Prasad addressing the Padyathris, “Modi Ji, Rajnath Singh Ji, Prakash Javdekar Ji and the entire Central Government are worried about the present state of the Yamuna River.” “We want a permanent solution for the free flow of the river and the PM, the Home Minister and the Minster for Environment are for the free environmental flow of Yamuna River and under determined to put it under the Environment Protection Act which will take almost two months time due to the legal issues,” he added.
The demands of the Padyatris were that the Yamuna River should be brought under the Environment Protection Act and the immediate need to allow the environmental flow of natural waters from Hathini Kund Barrage. This water should be allowed to flow on the entire stretch of Yamuna River Bed to maintain its adequate ecological flow. Both the demands of the agitators were met after an earlier meeting of the Yamuna Muktikaran Padyatra representatives with the Home minister Rajnath Singh and a reconfirmation of the implementation of the Environmental Act on Yamuna River with the Minister for Environment Prakash Javdekar through a conference telephonic discussion by Ravishankar Prasad from the ground zero at Jantar Mantar. The Yamuna River bed in Delhi is being used as a canal to transport Delhi’s sewage to Agra Canal. The agitators’ second demand for a parallel canal to be built along the river for sewage transport is also agreed up on by the Central government.
“We are happy that the peaceful Padyatra ended on a logical conclusion and also on a hopeful note with the assurance of the Central Government to fulfill our demands within two months time,” said Ravi Monga, Member, Core Committee, Yamuna Muktikaran Abhiyan. “However, we need to wait for couple of years for the construction of the 22 kms stretch of Canal for the pollution-free Yamuna,” he observed.
The Padyatra was a joint effort by Maan Mandir, Shrimad Pusti Marg and Bhartiya Kisaan Union (Bhanu).
The decisive Padyatra was organized to bring back Natural Fresh Waters of River Yamuna back to Holy Mathura-Vrindavan. As part of a timeless civilization, the river Yamuna, other than being a traditional water resource, is also a cultural icon and is worshipped as a goddess in Indian Culture. Many a temple towns are situated along its banks that have their characters based on the River and its religious tourism; the most famous being Vrindavan, Mathura, Agra and Gokul. Here, in most temples the Deities (Shri Vigrah) are bathed daily with Yamuna waters. However, unknown to the annual 80 million pilgrims and local residents of these towns alongside the river, who bathe and drink its water with faith and devotion, is that what flows now on the river bed is actually nothing more than a mixture of domestic sewage and industrial effluents (without one drop of original natural fresh water of the river).
Some of the revered and popular personalities took part in the Yatra and contributed in several ways are: Revered Shri Ramesh Baba Maharaaj, Revered Sadhvi Ritambara Ji, Revered Gyananand Ji Mahraaj, Revered Pankaj Baba Ji Maharaaj, Respected Devkinandan Thakur Ji, Revered Rajendra Das Ji Maharaaj, Respected Vijay Kaushal Ji Maharaaj, Revered Principal Acharya Shri Vallabh Rai Ji Maharaaj, Revered Nimbarkacharya Ji, Revered Ramanujacharya Ji, Respectad Mridul Kant Shastri Ji, Respected Maheshanand Giri Ji , Respected Sanjeev Krishna Thakur Ji among others.
