Vyenkata Bhatta Dasa
Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
A team of devotees, coordinated by His Holiness B.B. Govinda Swami, is working diligently on a campaign to help our brothers and sisters in Kazakhstan. Today’s Early Day Motion in British Parliament was part of that campaign; similar efforts are underway elsewhere in the world.
At this point in time, we are focusing our efforts on lining up support among human rights organizations, government officials, the media, Hindu groups, and others concerned about religious liberties.
Exclusive video footage of the demolition is available on-line at: http://www.palaceofthesoul.com/media/ALMATY/Bulldozers.mov
Photos of the demolition and aftermath are available at: http://vedabase.net/kazakhstan/
Please share this information (especially the video, which is short and powerful) with others, to raise awareness within our communities about the plight of these devotees. Temples who have the facility may want to show the video, projected on a large screen, as part of an announcement during the Sunday Feast or other large gathering.
Thank you for your support and for your enthusiasm to serve and protect Srila Prabhupada’s movement. We will keep you regularly updated as the situation continues to unfold.
On Behalf of ISKCON Communications,
Your Servant,
Vyenkata Bhatta Dasa
