Home and guest devotees danced merrily to the mesmerizing rhythm of Indian instruments at an extraordinary round-the-clock function organised by the Hare Krishna Movement. Staged last week- end, I visited the ISKCON temple in Stanmore Road, Edgbaston in Birmingham, on Saturday night and was overwhelmed by the glorified atmosphere. It was great to see so many young people taking part in the chanting, dancing, serving food and assisting the aged by providing chairs. The 24-hour annual music festival, now in its eighth year, was hailed a huge success by organisers.
