‘Preaching is the essence’ are the immortal words of Srila Prabhupada ; founder acharya of ISKCON.

To imbibe this sentence in our lives is Devotinal Service.

Inspired and blessed by Guru Maharaj ji;H.H.Gopal Krsna Goswami Maharaj ji; this summer I plunged to go across the ocean and to a neighbouring country to spread the word of Lord Chaitayana.To share my experience with you all and to instill the feeling to serve the vaishnavas is my motive.

I took a long journey to Sydney ,Australia on the 9th of May’07, where I spoke on Bhagavad Gita As It Is at different places in 21 days.This included 2 Sunday Feast lectures at Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple and some audio visual discourses with the Sydney youth named as ‘Spiritual Seekers’ and with various groups in the suburbs of Sydney.

I with one of my Godsister,a resident of Sydney worked hard to fulfill the dream to bring the lines of Guru Maharaj ji to reality. Often when I used to report about various preaching programmes that I conducted;Guru Maharaj ji would enthusiastically say ‘ I want you to go all over the world.’ This order had become my religion. In Sydney ,not only I delivered 20 lectures in 21 days including 2 main Sunday feast discourses in Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple but organized ‘Book Distribution’ and ‘Nagar Kirtans’ in the heart of Sydney.

We distributed books at metro train ,ferry ,on the main streets like George street,Pitt Street etc. and in the shopping malls too. We did an amazing book distribution. Here are few pictures of Sydney giving discourses,doing book distribution and performing nagar kirtana.To the youth of ISKCON Sydney;’The Spiritual Seekers’ I imparted audio visual shows on the topics such as ‘Art of Mind Control’ etc. too which were duly appreciated by them.

The second venture I undertook on the 9 th of June;I travelled to our neighbouring but quite distant country; Pakistan. I was invited to Quetta ,capital of Baluchistan in Pakistan. Big Dieties of Sri Sri Radha Radhanath were installed by ISKCON devotees in a local temple where earlier 6′ tall RadhaKrsna deities were worshipped. Devotees from all over Pakistan had gathered at Quetta and on the installation day a yajna was performed followed by Abishek of the Dieties and a discourse to a swelling crowd of approximately 1100-1200 people was imparted. During the discourse I stressed a lot on reading of Srila Prabhupada books in Pakistan .

By Srila Prabhupada’s mercy a record breaking ‘Book Distribution’ took place that night after the lecture. There was not a single person ,even young teenagers were not left out without buying a book for themselves. The ceremony culminated in a Maha Kirtan enjoyed by the masses who simply loved to sing and dance the Mahamantra. Photos from Quetta are to added below.
