Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Srimati Ragatmika dasi (ACBSP) underwent successful surgery today Oct, 8 2007, over several hours at the Bhaktivedanta Hospital in Mumbai. It was a major operation involving a full hysterectomy, removal of cyst-infected ovaries and exploratory surgery for possible cancer.
The results of the cancer tests will not be known for about five days. In the meantime Ragatmika will have to completely rest for the next
7-10 days, and not travel for at least one month.
The prayers and financial assistance from well-wishers and friends is very gratefully received and Karnapura prabhu has asked me to express his deep gratitude to everyone for their present and on-going support.
Several devotees have asked how to send smaller amounts of laxmi because Western Union has a high service charge. Karnapura prabhu has a PayPal account as follows:

It would be good if anyone sending laxmi to this account could let us know when and how much is sent so that we can make sure it comes through.
Please maintain your prayers for this great soul and dedicated servant of Srila Prabhupada. She is not out of the woods yet. As soon as we have the results of the tests we will let everyone know.
