It is great to see Partha and Uttama after many years. They taught me to cook when I would help in the kitchen on Sundays, back in the ’70s (when I was a teenager). They are very wonderful, special devotees, and I get a little misty when I look back nostalgically on those Vancouver days and the team spirit and family-like atmosphere of the temple.
Vancouver is so close to San Jose, really, and yet Jagarini and I hardly ever get up there (we went for Janmasthami in, I think, 1996). I have never been up to Saranagati. I keep hankering to go.
