At this time I ask your prayers

Dearest Friends, Family and Beloved Ones,

I first want to express my deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support through calls, emails, gifts and cards that I have received from so many of you around the planet. You have touched my soul and have given me strength to know how much I am loved! I am very sorry that I have not been able to talk to or see more of you personally, but I feel your support.

At this time I ask that your prayers be focused on helping me to have faith, courage and experience the highest Prema Bhakti. As you pray for me, I invite you to allow the power of divine prayer into your hearts as well and let your path to be enlightened through the medium of prayer and devotional Kirtan.

My mother and brother are arriving from Germany on Tuesday (12/22) and I am blessed to have time to share love with them. My energy is very limited so I will not be able to see anyone else during this time, but please know that your love is felt and appreciated. Thank you for understanding.

May Lord Caitanya continue to dance in my heart and may Krisna’s flute bring sweetness to my ears.

With love and deep gratitude,

Yours always,

Rasa

    My dear Mataji,

I offer you my humble obeisances at your feet.

You are now on your way to the Lotus Feet of Lord Krishna. In that way, you are theessence and the purpose of Shrila Prabhupada’s preaching. You are the eternally living purport to all his preaching, teaching, chastising, example-setting, etc. throughout the world. You have heard the sacred message of His Divine Grace in full out of uncountable billions of living entities. You know well and have taken to heart to the Acharya’s Great Command to shelter of Shri Radha-Krishna.

All of your Godbrothers and Godsisters know of the wonderful legacy you have left for us who seek also seek Krishna, as you have found him in the words of the Acharya. You are following Prabhupada, your eternal spiritual master and it is for us to follow you. In this there is nothing to lament. It is for us to retain sight of the love you have left to light our way.

We’ll all meet again soon enough.

    All glories to Shrila Prabhupada.
    Your loving Godbrother,
    Patita Pavana das

    My dear Mother,

I just watched your Memories Video dvd # 15` from Siddhanta das Prabhu. It has a wonderful interview of you filmed at the Shrila Prabhupada Festival in Los Angeles. It was uplifting to hear your narration of Shrila Prabhupada’s blessings upon you while you were in the role of Princess Rukmini. As His Divine Grace entered into your heart by his mystic potency, you assumed the full role of the young Goddess of Vidarbha Shrimati Rukmini as She wrote Her letter to the Lord of Her heart Shri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is obvious that Shrila Prabhupada has entered into your consciousness and has claimed you for the Eternal Kingdom where the pastimes of Shri Krishna continue eternally.

    Hare Krishna

    Dear Mother Rasajna,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

At this time, we’re all remembering you and your importance in the history of the Krishna Consciousness movement. We remember the wonderful plays you performed over the years and how much you delighted His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada with your unequalled service. Thank you so much for showing us the way of a real disciple — one who knows how to utilize her God-given skills and intelligence in pleasing service to the Spiritual Master. Certainly, Srila Prabhupada will never forget you and neither shall we, Mother Rasajna. Our prayers and love are always with you, and no matter what, we hope and pray to see you again soon at Srila Prabhupada’s lotus feet, dancing in ecstacy. Thank you so much for everything. All glories to your service.

    Hare Krishna.

    Humbly yours,
    Padmapani das

While visiting Vrndavana last month I heard a beautiful story that sent chills down my spine. I am afraid to tell it because I will probably be getting it wrong. It is too good not to share, however, and I hope that those directly involved will tell it better. I’ll try to stick to the basics I can remember.

Not long ago one lady devotee had a dream in which Srila Prabhupada told her to thank Rasajna for warming his clothes. The lady did not understand what Srila Prabhupada could have meant, but of course she told Rasajna about the dream.

Mather Rasajna immediately understood. Some years ago (after Srila Prabhupada’s physical departure), she performed the regular service of dressing Srila Prabhupada’s murti. Because the weather was very cold, she would lovingly iron Srila Prabhupada’s clothes before she dressed him, so he would feel the warm cloth.

Srila Prabhupada clearly appreciated this loving service and expressed it in a dream to a devotee who had no way of knowing what Rasajna had done, showing without doubt that he accepts service through his murti and that he is always present and reciprocates with his sincere devotee.

Okay, correction, excerpted from a remembrance by Rukmini Dasi (ACBSP):

“[Rasajna] never told anyone in Spain that when she dressed little Radha and Krsna in the cold stone building, first she held their little clothes over a heater to warm them up. Much later in New York, during a diffcult time, little Krsna came in the dream of a fortunate godsister asking her to thank Rasa for heating up His clothes.”

So, it was little Krishna, not Srila Prabhupada (as I had heard the story).

From the Chakra website, I have heard that Smt. Rasajna devi has flown away…on the 28th. I must say I am grateful that she asked for prayers from sinners like me who really require prayers from Vaishnavas like her. I know that by Shrila Prabhupada’s eternal grace, kindness and mercy, she has won the blessings of Lord Shri Krishna and is now sheltered at His lotus feet.

    Rasajna Mataji Ki Jai.

    Wretched servant,
    PPPd
