Maharaja with no devotee association but surrounded with auspicious items

by Administrator / 4 Jul 2020 / Published in Appeals  /

Dear Devotees,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

At this most important time, please continue your reverent prayers for our beloved Bhakti Charu Maharaja.

For those inquiring about the present situation, Maharaja is in the Intensive Care Unit in a hospital in Florida, USA. Although no devotees can be with Maharaja due to the pandemic, Maharaja is surrounded with auspicious items. When entering the hospital, Maharaja took along three volumes of Srimad-Bhagavatam, which remain with him along with Bhagavad-gita. Remarkably, the medical team has allowed Maharaja’s neckbeads and brahmana thread to remain in place. He also has Vrindavan dust, Tulasi leaves and Ganga water.

Srila Prabhupada’s japa and kirtan play all day long, broadcast from ISKCON Ujjain, the temple project Maharaja lovingly established for Srila Prabhupada’s pleasure.

We humbly request you once again, please continue your prayers for Srila Prabhupada’s dear servant, His Holiness Bhakti Charu Maharaja. Nothing is of greater urgency at present.

Thank you very much.

    Hare Krsna.

yadi vatadi doshena mad bhakto mam na cha smaret
aham smarami mad bhaktah nayami parama-gatim

“If My devotee is unable to remember Me at the time of death because of
disturbances felt within the body at that time, then I shall remember My
devotee and take him back to My supreme abode.” – Varaha Purana

This was also the answer given by Lord Varada Raja of Kancipuram to
Ramanujcaryaa when he asked what happened to a devotee who could not
remember the Lord at the time of his death.
