Even when a person becomes an offender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself, he can still be delivered simply by taking shelter of the Holy Names of the Lord: Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. In other words, the chanting of Hare Krishna is beneficial for eradicating all sins, but if one becomes an offender to the Holy Names of the Lord, then he has no chance of being delivered.

One time an Iskcon devotee met an older guru of the Sankaracarya sampradaya (impersonalists).
Being respectful the devotee offered his pranams, as the etiquette is. The guru started giving him advice and initially said that he should read the Bhagavad-gita as this would certainly strengthen him.

Recently our very innovative centre manager Madhavananda Das saw a plane flying above with a banner that had an anti political statement. From this he got the brainchild to do the same thing with 'Hare Krishna' in the message.
