In Hyderabad, India, a group of leading Indian scholars recently held a National Seminar on “Vedic Astronomy and Cosmology”. During the two day of presentation most of the eminent astronomers proudly pointed out that the results for the corrections of planetary positions of the Siddhantas are even nowadays more accurate than the modern astronomical values.

Although it was not in his written will, Jayapataka Swami had verbally made Bhakti Purusottama Swami the executor of his living will. Thus, in the case that Jayapataka Swami should enter a state of unconsciousness, Bhakti Purusottama Swami will make decisions related to his health.

By Bhakti Charu SwamiToday I went to see him in the morning. Kavichandra Maharaja, Bhaktisiddhanta Maharaja, Brajahari Prabhu and I walked to his bed in the Critical Intensive Care area. He opened his eyes when I held his hand and spoke to him. As I anticipated, his condition seemed to be much better than yesterday. I told him who all were present there. He acknowledged everyone. He was visibly excited to see us all.

Maharaja's rate of improvement is very slow. His blood pressure, blood sugar, platelets, etc. are stable. We have consulted other neurologists and surgeons in India, from Delhi, Bhubanesvara, Tirupati, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. Everyone is of the same opinion: the situation is very critical.
