It really isn't an exaggeration to say by 9pm on the second day devotees were in a collective state of bliss. For sure they were a little tired physically but the big grins on their faces indicated that spiritually there were energised! Batteries fully recharged.

The Omon riot police threw the personal belongings of the Hindus into the mud and snow, while loading the furniture on the back of trucks.

Also today our documents were recieved at 10 Downing Street to be presented to Tony Blair. He has agreed to bring up the issue when he meets Nazarbayev today. Tomorrow there will be demonstrations at the London Stock Exchange when Nazarbayev visits there in the morning.
